Project: Workforce, graduate, and senior housing for the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus and the surrounding communities.
Overall Design: The overall design for Campus Square encompasses a walkable community to encourage pedestrian travel. The 6-story, 265,000 GSF mixed-use building has commercial tenant space on the ground level and 152 dwelling units in the upper levels. Site improvements include: design for new finish floor elevations and finish grades, surface parking areas, storm water collection, connection to public utilities, common exterior plaza space, and landscape areas. The project also includes a free-standing open 4-tier garage designed to accommodate 240 cars; two egress stairs and one elevator serving each floor level and a storm water detention system to be incorporated beneath the first tier.
